As Associate Director I play a key role in not only completing all areas of an audit, but also coordinating communications and processes between Co-founders, middle management and the support team.
Having previously been a Trustee of a Multi-academy trust, I have a passion for working with Academies, as well as other corporate entities.
‘Enjoy’ is my favourite Byrd + Link value. I am lucky enough to genuinely say that I really enjoy my job. As a team, we love sharing funny stories with each other and having a laugh together. It’s great to work with colleagues who are so supportive and hard working but also just good fun. Both inside and outside work I enjoy talking to people, building relationships and learning about others’ lives.
I like having the opportunity to meet and talk to new or prospective clients, as well as those who I have built a strong working relationship with over many years.
Outside of work I have a beautiful wife and three boys, our toddler Max, newborn Alfie and our fluffy four legged son, Dougie. We will often be found exploring farm parks, on dog walks or spending precious family time at home. I am a keen Liverpool FC supporter, however I follow most sports and enjoy a good excuse to have a catch up over a pint of cider with my mates in the pub for a big game.
Now I have hung up my football boots to enjoy more time with my family, I do enjoy the occasional round of golf to keep my friendly competitive juices flowing.
